Twelfth in the series see the third appearance of Linda Evangelista. I think a pattern is starting to develop. Can you tell who my favorite used to be. I guess in some way she will always be my favorite. Sorry Freja.

So the idea behind this is more blatant. Actual wings for wings and a nice bright color scheme. The old trick of a black and white photographer surrounded by color. None of it changes the fact that it really wows.

The initial image was a part of Linda’s campaign for Barney’s. Which also happened to feature her love interest at the time, Kyle MacLachlan. Now that was a lovely pair. The ad had numerous iterations but I picked this one for its ode to old glamour.

I love the green and pink trellis background. It really pops. The lighter colors receding into the background nicely. The red and blue halo I would change now to a more subtle color combination. But it works.

The real find is the angel wings. They work and completely fit the image. Perfect size and placement. It’s one of the best images in this series.

I do believe that I actually made this much earlier in the series. The third or fourth image if I recall properly. Which is a problem because it’s a bit foggy. My memory is usually pretty amazing, but I guess I have a limit to how much I can store.
