Craig Paste Up is an ancient cover for those lost artifacts known as mixtapes. Yes, I made tons of mixtapes back in the day.

Some would have found magazine covers and others would have overly complex layouts like this one. This must have been for some dude I was into them but have since forgotten.

The image is a picture of me by my friend Monique. Reduced to graphic printing dots. The track list typeset by me using ancient green screen terminals.

All of this would be put together and then photocopied. Corrected and reprinted and then mounted on light card stock and folded. All of this for a mixtape for some random boy who probably gave zero fucks about me.

Obviously it was about the music and still is. I listen to more music than anyone I know. Even to this day it is so inspirational I can’t seem to break away from the idea.

Even though I can’t firmly stand behind each of these tracks, it’s an artifact that needs to be seen. Then I realize that it also needs to be heard so I made a YouTube playlist of the tracks in the proper order for your listening pleasure. How amazing is that? Find the mix below.
