FFXIV Nico 22 is another portrait of bard hat regalia. So monochromatic and sassy. I love a hat in game that elevates a look. A hat you don’t want to hide.

I am writing this several days before Christmas. On some level it’s a sad one. But only sad a little.

This year Ernie didn’t want a Christmas tree. He felt it was cruel in world that needs as many trees as it can get. More cut flower disdain I suppose.

He also didn’t want a present. I couldn’t think of anything I wanted or needed either. Except for hope, which is a bitch to wrap if you can even find it.

I almost succumbed and bought a PS4 on impulse. That urge to shop American style is at its peak right now. But they raised the price again and I said fuck it.

Instead we spent the money on fine wine and liquor. We will celebrate in austerity with more than most. It’s more than enough for me.
