Liz Extra 2 sees the best of what I can do with just a little. Charming images of the great Elizabeth Fraser. Such a nice homage and that first image is a hint at new pieces to come.

What more can I say about Elizabeth Fraser? Well I could say that I could have written her initial Icon post better. Sometimes I struggle with words. Sometimes they come out funny and poetic and succinct.

The night I finished these pieces I built and wrote the posts. I wanted them to go up immediately and that showed tremendously. The words were sluggish and didn’t really do her justice. I was fucking exhausted and felt like a bus had run over me.

Let me say that these are intense eight hour grinds just to piece the parts together. It is grueling work that doesn’t even include the initial build and exports. I do it because I love these people and look up to them.

They have gotten me through dead parents and a job at Hospice. They have gotten me through moving to New York City without money. They are still getting me through it. If I have a soul, they saved it.

In Elizabeth’s particular case she expanded the idea of beauty for me. She fused high Art with pop music while still keeping the whole thing independent. She really let me project my life onto the work she was doing.

She shared and I now idolize. I don’t do that often. Here I do it flagrantly.
