Icy blues dominate the thirtieth in the MAZE Series. Once again it shows, subtle color if used properly can result in a big impact.

This time, rather than cut items and group as I went along, I cut all the crops at once and then grouped for the remaining twenty pieces. It obviously has created more unity in the latter half of the series.

Maybe they are a bit too perfectly matched. I always try to think of everything from every perspective. But I think I have shown the other extreme. I have given myself the freedom to be overly matchy.

Freedom seems to be the focus. Freedom and flexibility. I could have just continued to do snarky takes on Miley Cyrus as some corn syrup goddess and nobody would have been the wiser.

And not to say that I won’t return to Miley Cyrus and those paintings. I have two more series of new ideas, maybe, and then I already have plans to rework the Supermodel series and the MPRSS_HRNT series. And by rework, I mean push them into areas as uncomfortable as these pieces with a new language and a new skill set.
