Number 12 in the MPRSS_HRNT series was an absolute bitch to cut. Mainly the jewelry. But I will come to that in a moment.

It’s a stunning piece and continues on with the previous run of greatness. The colors are wonderful. The purple quilted face. The clear raincoat sideways atop a tourist bus. The floral and grass hairnet. It all works for me.

I love the nude leather blending seamlessly with her leather blouse and nude nail. It’s ridiculous and perfect.

That jewelry was nearly impossible to cut. The piece tore into a million tiny pearls I had to hand place. When I cut them there were so many I had to keep them in CD jewel case. One more time, nightmare. But in the end it was worth it.

The jewelry itself was my ode to Prince. That little bit of eye jewelry I loved on my purple paisley god of my youth. Hence the purple face. Oh, Prince, why did you let them drag you down the stoney end? What happened to all the electro punk?

Still, all these girls could dance to Automatic. Grinding and gyrating in full Empress regalia. Weird and powerful. Beautiful queens.
