Here in the second from the last MPRSS_HRNT is Queen Latifah in all her glory. King, Queen, it all works.

So everything is working for me in this. The Dolce and Gabbana fragrance bottles for a face. The angularity paired with the citrine tones is nicely graphic.

The jewelry nose cover is one of the best. Almost as good as the moustache. It reminded me at the time of Kate Bush’s video for Egypt. That black panty hose over her nose with the sole sequin. A lot of the nose cover idea belongs to her and that video.

The hairnet is perfectly distorted. The pattern perfect. The color of the hairnet is the best of this entire series. It flows and ripples perfectly. It helps that it is so present compositionally.

And the pinks and yellows of that background layer is so soft and sweet. Great contrast with everything else. And I love that sometimes it reads as boobs and pearls.

One away from the end and I have to say this one is in my top faves in the series. I felt a few missteps but overall I think the successes are greater than the previous series. Percentage-wise.
