I am running behind on this post. It was scheduled and now it is up and I haven’t even written it or posted the song. It has been a long week.

This particular song is all found in the final piece. It is just heavily layered underneath the piano recording. It was good enough to keep so I think it would be good to show it naked.

So why show all the parts? Because current music is pushing at old boundaries. The music landscape has changed radically in the last ten years.

Albums with a video for each song drop with no promo. Albums are reworked after their release. EPs and singles rule but great LPs are still hard to find.

Plus it is informing me as to how we have been working. Just like the visual art on this site. It is giving me great insight.

Will all the music we make have this much stuff released with it? No. But other songs will have remix stems released.

Ernie has two other songs he wants to pair with this one for an EP. Let us hope we can get them done in time. Let’s hope we can get anything done.
