Texture is just that. When I shot this the under color was almost like gingerbread. The top color was silver and almost iridescent.

It’s lovely when photographs are painterly. It’s the goal with most of these. To create something that is less representational and more aspirational.

I still really want that wand scanner. It gnaws at me that I just let that project die in my mind. Had I received better customer service it would be a reality.

Instead I have been doing more weird things with my flatbed scanner as of late. Scanning oddities and making a few along the way. It’s good to get back up on the horse. Even if it is just for a carousel ride.

Many of the To Do lists are winding up. Some major projects still in the works. Then I will be home free I hope. Pray for me.
